Since a vault icon on a special die does not have a number, you do not roll doubles and you do not get another turn. The player landing on the property must pay the owner of the property the corresponding amount of money. If you owed money to another player, you will give them all of your mortgaged properties, any Chance cards you are holding, and any unused Hotels. Every time the vault is refilled, 1 hotel is placed in there for any player to get if they successfully open the vault the next time. If the card says that you can keep it, you don’t have to read it out loud until you are ready to play it.If you trade a property with Hotels on it, you will remove the Hotels from the property before you trade it. When you land on a property that is owned by somebody else, you may have to pay the rent to that owner. Along with Monopoly Money, there are hotels that players can only find in the vault, plus keys to locked properties. This suggested age range may be based on what age range the manufacturer recommends will like the product best, or what age range is appropriate based on safety information and restrictions.This includes the higher amount if you have the whole color set, or if you have one or two hotels on the property.
